If you'll allow me a Tony-esque moment...I'll give you a movie tie in. This song, which was written by Randy Newman, was previously recorded by Bonnie Raitt. Bonnie's version was included in Nora Ephron's movie 'Michael'. Which is even further interesting since it is Weatherly's name too. If you don't remember, Michael was an archangel played by John Travolta & also starred Andie McDowell & William Hurt.
