You portrayed what I think is the best dynamic in Glee- the father son relationship that Kurt and his father have is simply brilliant and you conveyed that fantastically.

I love this story so much and I'm ashamed I haven't commented on it before. I love that Will is enlightened to Kurt's potential and the rest of the club - he needs this enlightenment so much. I especially love that he sees Kurt doing Rose's Turn which is one of my favorite performances of season 1 (so more people can appreciate how awesome it was). I also liked the little details you included, like Will noticing that not many males touch Kurt, because clearly Will is roll in this moment.

Wow. Just...wow. This story was beautifully done, and I absolutely love your take on that scene. It remains one of my favorites of season one. Just wanted to take the time to tell you how wonderful this is.

I do love Burt and Kurt, this was such a cute fic, showing a different point of view to one of the sweetest Glee moments.

Really cool how you laid out so plausibly a way that Shue could have been there to witness the scene, and then told it from his point of view. I really like your observation that just because Kurt didn't ask anything of Shue didn't mean that Kurt didn't need anything from him as a teacher and Glee director. The realization that Shue had not really been paying attention to his other Glee kids, that there was an understandable reason but it was no excuse, was well-written. And the interaction between Burt Hummel and Shue seemed pitch-perfect to me. How Shue doesn't misjudge Burt, exactly, but doesn't know what to make of him, and how Burt assumes Shue would misjudge him. Oh, and I liked when you said Shue had attended courses on how to talk with parents about difficult situations, but of course the training was useless when confronted with actual parents.
