I gotta say, I'm lovin' this fic! Sokka and Azula are interesting together, being (in my opinion at least) the two masterminds in Avatar. The plotting and planning is enjoyably complex, and keeps me on my toes:)

You also do a great job of portraying a recovering-from-madness Azula, and the way she tries to smother how deep certain things strike a cord in her. ( By the way, I think it's fitting, the way Zuko lied to Ursa.)

Hope this story continues, 'cause it is most definitely an intriguing fic!

Hooooly craaaaap. This has got to be one of the best and most intriguing and thought-out Avatar fic I've read in YEARS. Everything is just so...flawless and fits in perfectly together like a puzzle.

Usually any story that has Maiko and Kataang in it makes me sick. But this story is just so damn good, I've fallen in love. Azula is definitely my favorite female character and to have her as the main person in a story where Zuko is alive and is Fire Lord just makes me giddy. Can't wait to read more!

Pure amazingness... I came across this fanfic on ASN and I am in love with it. It's better than most post-war fics around and from Azula's point of view, which I enjoy. (Most likely 'cause I'm a deranged, psychopathic, firebender/Azula wannabe in my head, and a bit insane in all other respects, but...)This is a job well done, and so far this is my favorite chapter.

Just wanted to say I love your story! Its one of the few fan fics that has caught my attention enough to stick with it and I have been following from some time. I would REALLY like it for you to update soon because I'm the sort of reader who doesn't want to stop once I like the story. The only thing I have to say is that Azula seems to be becoming less and less as you had originally wrote her and I would think that even though she's not as insane just to keep Azula a little more like her original. I really like your story! I find it to be an accurate portrayal of a possible epilogue to ATLA. And I like the idea youve created with Zuko lying to Ursa about Azula. It fit, and Azula's reaction seemed to be perfect. Being raised as she was and the way she's portrayed in the series, the reaction you've given her really suits her. I also enjoy the mentality you give her and how you show she's conniving but fragile.

I've read this in one go and it's been intriguing from the beginning until now. I especially love how you have Azula tell Aang how it is. Of course, she is correct. As Avatar, though it may not be fair, much is expected from him despite his age.

Boy golly, I never expected Ursa's reunion with her kids to involve being thoroughly duped (about what precisely?)! As awkward as it's going to be, I hope it all comes out in the end and they can work through it- and so far you've been faithful enough to the characters that I doubt you'll leave the lie standing indefinitely (though for a good while all the same).

This is a wonderfully written and plotted story, and even better, it's been updated within the last month! Keep it going (when you can).
