The book he gave her blew my mind. Like, how incredibly sweet it was that he gathered all of that and developed it over the years of their relationship. It was really so romantic.

Aww, how beautiful was that? I totally love his present for her; I love presents with a meaning. New York is a special city to Danny and Lindsay and I love how you showed that with this present. Awesome work!

OK, right off the top, your author's note was absolutely hysterical! Your imagination certainly has you going on some great adventures!

Now to the story itself: You tease! First of all we have Lindsay getting all touchy-feely (and I mean touchy-feely) with Danny at work, and then the three days later bit is vague enough that it sends my mind straight into the gutter just thinking about what they've been doing for the past 3 days, and then you reveal that Danny's been sick the entire time! But I can't be even a little bit mad because the explaining flashbacks were just too adorable!

Poor Danny, falling asleep one minute before midnight on Lindsay's birthday! And then the hilarious three way (phone call, that is!) between Danny, Lindsay, and Flack! Repeating conversations was such a lovely touch - your fics always tie in things that we've seen before in such a beautiful way, and I love you for that!

And to top it all off, the sweetest birthday gift ever: the Danny/Lindsay edition of a NYC map/guide book! Personally, I think it was a much better gift than the one Lindsay thought she was getting - Danny's right, they don't need any help in that department!

Awesome job my friend! I hope you're feeling better!

Aww, I love this story and, I've got to say, Danny is all kinds of adorable when he's sick. Loved all of the banter during the car conversation involving him, Lindsay and Flack.

I'll admit, I thought he'd gotten her a copy of the Kama Sutra *lol* but I'm glad I was wrong 'cause his actual gift was all kinds of perfect and I could easily imagine him coming up with something that meaningful.

Thanks for brightening up my Friday with this! I'm definitely adding it to my favourites. :)

What do I think? You keep astounding me with all of the sweet and lovely sentiments that is found in all of your stories. They are filled with humor, love, drama, and even angst at times but it is always a pleasure to read them.

I hope that Mac wasn't in the office that day, but I would have loved to have seen her excuse on why her hands were down Danny's pants. LOL! Aren't we all little kids when it comes to our birthday? :D I do however challenge you to show us Danny's birthday and how Lindsay surprised him with the lingerie! ;) You really threw us a red herring with the book. Great job!

The whole conversation between DLF was out of this world funny! There were many times where I had to take a break to keep from keeling over. Anytime that Lindsay gets to pick on Don is a good day for me. I howled with laughter at the tie part, with tiny white angels! LMAO! And the way that Danny asked her to be careful was so him. Thank you for that!

Thursday

It was lovely of Mrs. Messer to make them dinner, especially since it was her birthday/thank you for taking care of Danny. I think the whole Messer family has fallen in love with our country girl. :) Yes, he remembered and that does count.

Friday

I don't know if you do this to taunt me but I would love to see the extra scenes where he helped her out of the opera dress and how her family found him asleep on her bed, please? LOL, it was in her cabinet? I love how he teases her on being short. So cool. The guidebook has to be the MOST thoughtful and romantic gift he has ever given her. A marker of places they have been and will go, what a treasured memory. You will always have me at Zoo York, but the other places...just marvelous!

I wish it had went that way too. EXCELLENT JOB! There are no favorite lines because they are all stellar!
