Well done. Good to see a story where it is explained why Vernom could get away with all that abuse in the muggle world.

This is very interesting. I am glad Harry was not killed. I have always felt that Dumbledore had Harry's best interests in mind by taking him to the Dursley's. I showed in the end that the blood wards were important. He was not sent there to make him miserable and easy to manipulate.

Really moving. I found the neighbours' talk especially emotional, because it came across as so hypocritical. Especially the last comment about the death penalty conflicted very nicely with the scene of Vernon. Talking about the redemption scene of Vernon. That was incredibly well-done. Such things are hard to write without completely contradicting or grossly disregarding previous actions and character traits, but you pulled it off convincingly and didn't go too far with it.

How many times can I say "Wow" before it gets old?

Damn, but you write some powerful short stories.

Why not letting the Muggle world learn Harry survived?

Excellent. I'm glad that Harry was saved; so of course Sirius Black had to be freed, rather than have Harry raised by someone responsible. Snape is disqualified (because he exists) even though he saved Harry's life.

I expect that Vernon (your final section) finally realizes what he really is.

I'm glad Harry didn't really die. Was the second pov a random Muggle? I couldn't figure out who else it could be. Also, I'm glad Vernon accepted his fate.
