In that last scenes, as well as when he says good bye to her, you truly realize that this is the same Guy who said good-bye to all of his friends and most lekely wouldn't dare to show himself to them, the man who just lost his chilhood friend and had to blow his homeworld out of the sky for a second time... Amy was really all he had left. IF anyone else would've been able to hear him and he'd gone back further, he'd probably said these exact words to the master. They were both almost ridiculously in-character, saying exactly the kind of stuff they would say in such a situation without being over the top on any way. I also like the way you inserted the flashbacks about their chilhood, the Unit years etc. |
