Aww! Loved the story and the proposal. I would have loved if Blair had been the one to nurse Chuck back to health in S4..even if the writers weren't ready to put them back together again. I feel like Blair should have been more like she was in your story. Crying that he got shot and wanting to help him. Anyway, very nice story. I am going to check out more of your stories :)

This was SO wonderful! Like you have no idea how wonderful I found it! The language and situations are great.

I hope there's A LOT more where this and My First Valentine came from, they are both brilliant. Please consider more like this, for s3/4/5 even 1 and 2. They'd all be wonderful, but my request is especially for s3/4/5 as the relationship continues to evolve.

I have been loving this- just devouring it, and I was going to wait until the end of what has been written to review, but gracious! Poor Serena and Nate! Blair's announcement must have been a compleat "WHAT THE ****!" moment for both of them! I love this!

Your stories are truly amazing. You're an amazing writer.

The writers screwed Chair up at the season 3 finale but your story was so good i even cried in some parts. And the bit where Chuck puts Blairs hand over his heart about the "more than one part" was so sweet! :)

The writers should be fired and YOU should be hired.

Please write more stories about Chair. They're too good!

I don't really know what to say.

I think now my objective judgement is clouded by the happy ending I've just read. hmm

but I will say this: I have conflicting thoughts about the story. Mainly because I feel like your Chuck is drifting from the monster in season 3 to the guy I fell for in season 1. I always deny any and every existance of Chuck Bass in my head cause I imagine their true story go quite differently after 2x16, without Elle, Carter, Vanessa, Jenny, or Dair disgusting prediction in their future. Sure I can see some possibilities there but not rushed through as they were in the show while at the same time distroying the characters. In season 1 and partly season 2 the characters controled the actions and acted like they did because that was their decission and their choices. Now it's like a decided plot and the characters are forced into a stereotypical action for their "alias": Chuckhe villain, Natethe confused golden boy, Blairthe annoying masochistic high maintenance princess, SerenaUES version of Merlin Monroe only a worn out version with no Brains and bad choices nobody understands.

All the characetrs have turned hypocritical, well apart from Blair, cause they do things they've judged in the past 2 seasons and then deny any existnace of their own mistakes. At least Blair admits her own mistakes - WHY? Because she hasn't had that many. Whiel others... well if they were to admit to their mistakes it would take up the entire episode thus the writers just ignore it and blow it off as now bg deal. Like what Chuck did with Jenny who is technically his adoptive step sister, a family issue SO important in S2 just blown off in S3 (and from what I heard from my friend Julie in S4 too)... not to mention that he wanted to put on enagement ring on Blairs finger, the same one he's knocked over while hef*cked Jenny on the bed he professed his love for Blair.

The story was in the beginning much too rushed. Blair's reaction was completely unrealistic. TOTALLY wrong. She might have flown over there and taken care of him, but she would NOT cave to him like that. I could see her making sure he's alright and securing his recovery by arranging his stay at a retirement home somewhere in Europe, but she owuld leave and delude herself into thinking that this was the perfect ending for them. While Chuck would most likely return to NY, sell Empire Hotel get back Bass Industries and try to get back his former self, trying to forget Blair.

I don't see him having a girlfriend, why shoudl he? Ridiculous in season 4! He hates commitment, Instead I could see Elle returning as his personal "wet towel" he would use.

However, your interpretation of Chuck quite impressed me to be honest. If he was to transform into his former self, and if would not deny S3 version of him, I actually think that this transformation and course of action is the way to go. Sure I still have a problem with Blair beign portrayed SO NEEDY (the only thing I HATED about the story), and I just don't see her acting like this in any "universe", but still his actions and his behaviour is actually accurate and in a way heartwarming.

I would like to read a one-shot perhaps about when they are back in NY and Blair bumps into this guy form Paris at Columbia, only now she's about to get married to Chuck. LIKE REALLY ABOUT TO get married, say we are in September and they are gttign married in October or something.

And Chuck and her are about to head out for lunch bumping into the guy Sam. Chuck finds out the details and gets ANGRY as HELL. Cause while he was recovering and thinking of marriage she was out on a "date"? (That's how he WOUDL think)

If Chuck were to return to his former self in S4 (instead of what they turned him into now - I say WHAT not WHO cause Julie says he's a hearless monster) I would expect to see his jealousy and posessive tendencies return. After all she isn't just Blair Waldorf his gf or his best friend's gf who he's sleeping with anymore. She's about to become HIS WIFE! Tha puts a spin on male feelings.

- I feel like this cause my 25 year old cousin recently married and the way her husband turned into a jealous fool never fails to amuse me. I swear I once saw his eyes turn green XDD

So sorry to see this story end. It was beautifully done. I read the first few chapters but the finale really distracted me from reading anything Chair related. I'm so glad that I came back to it though. I have no idea what's going to happen in Season 4 but this gives me hope.

wow, is the fourth chapter and you have me crying, this is the way it should be after the fucking messed up things et the "Epic Finale", so far, your fic is amazing, i really love it and I just can't stop reading it...

This is one of the most WTF fics I've ever read. After all that's happened in S3, would Blair really run back to Chuck begging to get back together? She keeps trying to have sex with him here while HE is the one that rebukes her. Wow. Way to keep doormat!Blair alive. Chuck is (OF COURSE) the one who wants to work out the problems.

I found this fic extremely anti-feminist and condescending. Blair is willing to forget that Chuck tried to sell her out for a hotel, while Chuck is the one who wants to talk about their issues? And then he proposes in the end? How OOC for both of them. If Chuck really wanted to talk about their issues and apologize for what happened, he had like 5 episodes at the end of s3 to do it.

I guess I'll say this: It's basically what will probably happen on the show. And I don't mean that as a compliment.

WoW.. amazing closer dear! I loved it!

The beginning was funny with thei talk about Serena and Nate... but then became AMAZING! Seriously.. when Chuck said that he took one o her senses was freaking amazing! Best make up I've ever read! hehe... So emotional and sensual! I absolutely loved it!

I also loved theirdialogue after that.. Chuck telling her everything.. and that he unconditionally love her.. And then blair reassuring him that she forgave him and that she trust him not to do anything like this again and that she'll always save him..So sweet! They needed to have this things spoken so they're clear between them!

And the end was amazing.. more lighter after all this emotional scene! Perfection!
