Interesting. I do love how you seem to be able to channel Tony's thought processes. I never thought about how he probably hates sand now. To misquote Indiana Jones "Sand. Why did it have to be sand? I hate sand!" Okay, random I know and it may not make much sense but I got sent home from work and the only think on TV right now is Family Matters.

There were several little typos that are easy to figure out what they should have been from context. Not sure I like the present tense-but we know I'm partial to third and past so my opinion really doesn't matter. In anycase none of that detracts from the fic.

I especially liked the end when Tony decides to build a new suit, (Would the Mark 1 have still been the Mark 1 if he has no other suites?) and that he's going to take back the weapons he built because they're his damnit! Aaand..now I'm out of room.
