More heartbreaking, but it's a happily ever after in the end! I'm a fan of these kind of fics, so I salute you!

After reading this, I have to say 'good writing'. Text itself is very solid but maybe a bit too fast paced and thus a bit ... I don't know? Hectic? Slowing down and fleshing out would have been nice. And now to the long.. rantish part, sorry for the lenght and the possible hurt. I don't want to mean bad just point out this..

About the religion issue... well it is a bit presumptuous, got to admit it. As Kara Marie said, because crucifixes are present in onmyouji in itself and not as a sing of christian faith. Same goes with the pagan pentagram, ofuda, buddhist mantras, chinese Yì Jīng hexagrams, feng shui practices, buddhis mantras, etc.

After all in modern day Japan onmyōji are defined as a type of Shinto priest... Onmyōdō is a esoteric cosmology, a mixture of natural science and occultism that crucifix is a part off (occult symbols that is). So using chistian belief system is a bit... arrogant.

As the author if you really don't want to research onmyōdō that much you have the liberty to use the most familiar religion system. But despite this you should warn of this liberty you have taken, preferably at the top of the page. An admission of taking liberties with the beliefs of the characters. Onmyōji have a religion of their own already and by any means are not christians. [End rant.]

This fic is well written and concise thus making a good read. My grade: A- (minus of the religion thingy... sry) Keep up the good work D. Surmaaja out and over.

I really love this story... mostly because I'm a hopeless romantic and I love the fact that they finally end up together ( even if they are dead! but even in death... *sigh* )

I do think it's interesting that you made them Christians... but for me, I have a really hard time imagining that. For one thing, they're exorcists, part of the occult... I mean, part of Shinto-ism. And from what I've seen in the mangas, their lives are full of ceremonies ( which leads me to believe that they don't just practice it rarely ). Anyways. I don't reject this idea, it's just I have a hard time imagining it. But then again, to each her own imagination )

You say that they were a lot of crucifixes in Tokyo Babylon... it's true! But traditionally and in general symbolism, this is just the icon of suffering, not necessarily a symbol of Jesus Christ's suffering, although nowadays we mostly forget about the first meaning of this symbol, which is just pure suffering.

So yeah, it's a great piece of work! Sad, but very bittersweet. A good read!

This has been the best Subaru/Seishirou fic I've ever read (this includes your Bleeding Love as well )! You almost had me crying, it was just so good overall! I don't even have words to describe how beautiful this story was. It was just so beautiful and your choice of words throughtout the whole story were just amazing.

Alright, oh-I-really-don't-care-about-reviews-even-though-I-do ;) :-P Again, another work of art. The way you portray these two is absolutely perfect, in my humble opinion of course. I liked that first scene between Seishiro and God. It showed his character very well, and continued to do so throughout the entire fic, especially during his punishment. Then, switching over to Subaru part way through and doing a little character developement on his part. That was great, I especially loved the speech he made to Kamui, all of it. It really showed how much strength he had despite it all. Again, very well worded, keep writing ;)
