You know, this is one of my favorite fics, but not really because of the Ran/Ken, although that is also my favorite pairing. I can't remember if I already left you a comment, but either way, I'm leaving another one as I am re-reading.

No, I love this fic because I absolutely adore the Yohji bits. I adore Yohji in this fic. I can't remember if I already left a comment, but your Yohji is a wondrous character--frailties and all, and thoroughly human. I am dying for more of his story, every time I read this fic, and I loved every one of his scenes--with the kids, from his viewpoint, or just whenever he popped up. Every one of his scenes were brilliant. And I loved Asami too--and even his first wife, Rikuko-didn't like her, but I know women exactly like her, could see how Yohji would marry her type, and she totally works as a character. It's an amazing story within a story, and as fanfic or even as an original story--one day I hope you write all of it.

More! Please... I need more!

gosh, kenji sounds like he's turning into a hottie (like father, like son)... i thought you were gonna put in some crazy love triangle with him, kaori and aniki (hm, threesome? j/k), but geoff was a nice surprise. ani-kun may just get some! wahoo! aniki is a barrel of laughs. nothing like a horny, out-of-control gay boy to spice up kaori's life. heheh...

and youji holding up a puking kenji on the road trip was adorable. lol! hope those gucci loafers weren't hurt too much ^_^

Ooooh! I just love your Youji! I'm happy he's not so sad anymore! I cried when his other wife died... And I think Kaori-chan and Kenji makes a perfect couple! good job!
