I like this idea of doumeki being a puppet master and watanuki his puppet...

I somehow regretted the fact I read between the lines. The story is so sad, and so moving. I can't believe you have the whole story wrap up and and make it so canon.*in despercate need of a tissue*.

Actually this is the third time I read this, and everytime when I remember this story wherever I am, I had always cried from remembering.

Wonderful story, and so, sad.

I keep thinking about the implications, and the implications are so, so sad. But I'm not sure if that's what you first meant when you wrote it down.

It sounds like the original Watanuki died and Doumeki made a puppet that looked just like him to replace him, but Doumeki is still very sad about it. But, perhaps, you just meant it as a regular AU. Idk, but it's wonderfully written and wonderfully vague, like xxxHolic itself.
