Nice chapter! I loved Laura's comment, 'I'd seek Lockhart's attention...' :P And it was good to see what could have happened during the sorting/feast, seeing as we missed it in the book. Me likey!

Great chapter, I really like how you're mixing in the Slytherins story with the Gryffindors one rather than just focusing on one or the other.

I loved the mention about Lucius's fight with Arthur, you got Draco's reaction perfectly!

The stuff about Lockhart was funny and I can't wait to see how it develops.

I also love Cassie's relationship with both Draco and Hermione, it will be interesting to see how long her one with Hermione stays hidden for.

A great beginning to the second book, the trailer you left at the end of the first book was very good too, it's definitely making me excited to read more! I love the Draco-Cassie friendship, and yes I can see why she would switch off at Lucius' pure blood drivel! I agree with your previous reviewer though-more Dobby! :) But whatever the case update soon!
