I mean... it is pretty unfathomable that a being could be nothing but evil... everyone has a reason. I wrote a somewhat similar story about Piccolo Jr. not too long ago, so this was interesting to read and to compare to my own thoughts on the matter.

I'll agree with you that this is kind of a weird story, but it's weird in a good way. I like it! Gohan and Piccolo have the coolest friendship, and I'm glad that I'm not the only one who appreciates it!

That was so great. Writing about Daimao Piccolo is so rare.

This was done really well too. I enjoyed how you presented him. Empty, lonely, tourtured. Kami always seemed a little tragic to me too.

I have to get my Piccolo story going soon, right after I finish the one I'm working on now.

You, i must say, are an extreamly gifted writer. I sugest that you write more like this fanfic. Have you ever looked into romance? Like, let's say that the old kami,(before dende)had fallen in love with a kind human girl and then became god and Daiomao went out to kill her or somethin like that. Just wanted to leave another review for this. When I sat down to write from Vegeta's POV, I reread this for reference...not only that, but I printed it up and sat it next to me for the entire first chapter.

You know, now that I know where Piccolo came from (the whole being sent as a baby thing from Namek to earth), it made much more sense. And knowing exactly what Kami's and Daimao's history was, the second time around just flat blew me out of the water.

This fic has GOT to contain your best descriptive writing. Period. It's so beautiful, and so EVIL. You wrote from an evil perspective so believably...it just absolutely floors me. I won't even try to expound on it, cuz there's no way words can even begin to do this fic justice. And that poem, oh Onyx! THAT POEM! It brought a tear to my eye! Being a mom, and knowing the love a parent has for their infant son. Hell. I'm getting teary eyed again just thinking about it.

I absolutely love this, and not only because of the beautiful writing (i'd hang this piece up in a museum if I could), but because you wrote so perfectly from an evil perspective, while still rousing compassion in the reader for a being who had just slaughtered an entire village. Nothing is forced. Ah, geez.

And I mean this literally, I'd quote favorite lines, but I'd end up quoting the entire fic back to you. Everything was eloquent perfection. It's going up on my website once I html it!
