We never really did get much of a transition, did we? Thanks for adding this in, it helps soothe the ruffled feathers a bit for the way the authors sprang this on us. (Though I still wish she'd stuck with jumping.)

i used to show horses, too and this story was perfect - i really enjoyed it!

It's a wonderful thing to find a Thoroughbred fic that "fixes" a poorly constructed event in the series, and does it well. I certainly wish this is how it went in the books!
