Ohh I LOVED this!

It was such a brilliant idea for a present, and the personalisation you put into it too was fantastic.

I enjoyed the "shift" or "turning point" in their relationship, and I think that you put in just the right amont of Jisbon-ness, it worked wonderfully.

I love how at ease Jane is, instantly analyzing Izzy and keeping it a secret how she does it, and hugging her at the end, although I enjoyed the little detail you threw in about how he looked at Lisbon a little more than necessary, more effective than you would have though I think ;)

Izzy and Jane's comparing of Lisbon was brilliant, I was worried they were going to run out of time, but I think they got enough said to make Jane realise how Lisbon feels about him, so thanks for that :)

Ahh, I remember her saying she tells people about him, so that reverts to the fact that this fic is GENIUS!

Just such a good idea, I'm so jealous of you for coming up with it!

I also love the ending, as always, how her efficiency is for once overruled by the presence of Jane! :D

Great fanfic. I loved that you didn't push their relationship farther than it was willing to go, because things ARE complicated between them. You let Jane have his moment, where he doesn't have to overanalyze everything, and let his guard down since he's with *Teresa. And plus, I love stories set outside work that paint a different light on how things are between them, through the eyes of someone who loves them, like Izzy. Please write more Mentalist fanfics like this one.

Izzy was so much fun. Hope you write more stories about her. Maybe one where JIBSON visits Izzy and her family. Also how about one showing the next level their relationship moves to.

Firstly, happy birthday to dizzy-in-the-izzy.

Secondly, this is as usual great, and calling Teresa "Teri", well that sort of made me think of her as either one of the two 24 Teris, although only for a second or two.

I think you did show the shift well, and I suppose someone who watches the Mentalist will know more about the relationships between the canon characters here.

Oh my GOSH! YOU DIDN’T! :) I HAVE A HUSBAND, KIDS, AND TEACH? YEEE! I’m the bomb, just saying. :P I nearly lost it. I started to laugh and then I was like in stitches and I’ve already laughed my ass off today. Please don’t do that to me. :P

And of course, I’d listen to her complain. I enjoy helping. You know me too well.

Oh, and I love you. Again.

Chinese food… because I’m such an obsessed little twit and Jane knows it before he even walks though the door. He goes “I bet Lisbon’s friend whom I haven’t met yet would like Chinese food because she is obviously obsessed with China because her husband, whom I also haven’t met, is Chinese and is hot (in Izzy’s opinion) and she makes regular trips to China with her two kids to see their roots.” (YES, I DID JUST MAKE ALL OF THAT UP. SHUSH!)

I love the whole paragraph about story Me wanting to ambush the CBI building and stuff. Oh, how I love it. I would totally do that. “In fact, he hardly looked at Izzy” awhhhhhhh. I love the detail. You are taking a play from my book. Just adding in that detail. :) I love all the detail. I really do.

(I would like to point out that I should marry Cho. Just for the fun of this story, I am married to Cho, and they [Lisbon and Jane] don’t know Cho and Cho and I are married and this is how they meet him. Because I love Cho. And you know that. I love both of them. John Cho and Kimball Cho. And Harry Shum Jr., but he’s not a Cho! :[)

“Once she'd left, Izzy and Patrick looked at each other, not sure what to say, wanting to laugh. Izzy knew why Lisbon didn't want to leave her alone with Jane, and he knew why she didn't want him alone with Izzy.

"Awkward silence..." Izzy couldn't resist saying aloud.” – Oh, how you have taken all of my personality and our inside jokes and things I’ve done and piled them into a story. I love it. I am so glad it’s my birthday. I adore this. :) And I love that I call her Teri.

I GET TO HUG PATRICK JANE! :D IN YOUR FACE EMILY BROWN! ME, STORY IZZY, HUGS PATRICK JANE! I also get to hang out with LISBON! This is just my day. I shall rub this in her face. :P Not really. I’m not that mean to her. :D Oh, I love this.

And then, the end. I love the end. I really love the end. I love the last line-ness of it all. It’s not like, hilarious last line like I try to do so often, but it’s conclusion last line, which is just amazing. I enjoy last lines that seem to close stories and make them seem complete. Those kinds of last lines are the best. You know what I mean, right?

Ah, so it’s almost time for my mom to leave to go get stuff and me to have to be social. I’ve been typing this review in a word document because I didn’t want to risk losing it.
