The idea has a lot of merit and though I can't think of anything, I'm sure there exists a slight twist that would allow for more humor, otherwise the change is just overtly dramatic making it unlikely that the heavens wouldn't send her down on assignment as being too dangerous. Then again, its just a spoof.

Very funny story. You're a good writer.

Just one thing. I'm pretty sure that the reason Mara and Urd are affected by music is that Mara's a demon and Urd is a half-demon. That is, being affected by music is a demonic trait, not a Goddess trait. Nothing would happen to Belldandy or Skuld.

This story was interesting and well crafted, but not on a par with others you have written. I think it was because of the OOCness of Belldandy. The dramatic shift in her actions with music didn't match the shift in others' actions: from sweet to serial killer is a much bigger jump than to sleeping, or dancing.

And why wouldn't someone run into the other room and turn off the 80's music, so they would only have to deal with 3 minutes of a psycho Belldandy? Urd just shows off the empty case, and if she could get the case, why couldn't she get to the stereo?

I liked everyone else's reactions, though. It was like watching a real episode. Of course they would leave Keiichi to deal with Belldandy, and of course Skuld would build another invention.

My favorite part was when Keiichi starts spouting his speech about staying by her side, etc., and she still hacks at him with the chainsaw. It was funny that the usual speech didn't snap her out of it.

Oh my goddess this was funni! Imagining Bell as a homocidal maniac. It coulda been better if Bell didn't know what she was doing, but it's still funni! A skuld's lil invention radio thingy was...unique. all around thumbs up!

I can see some music from the 80's doing that to people. But I think stuff like Tiffany, Night Ranger, Nu Shooz, Mister Mister and Color Me Badd is more likely to turn people into maniacs.

When I first read this on the FFML, I honestly didn't know what to make of it. To tell you the truth, I still don't know what to think. I liked the little twist that you put on it about the music, but chainsaws? It was well-written, I'll have to give you that. ;)
