jojobevco 6/2/11 . chapter 7Good Chapter! I would have liked a bit of an epilogue with Q gloating, but, it's fine. |
Agent66 6/2/11 . chapter 7Aw, it's over. Definitely well worth the wait. I serious enjoy all of your fics; everyone's in character and it's easy to put everything in to the Star Trek TNG timeline, as if it's an actual show. THIS was how Nemesis should've ended! I'm kinda sad though; I guess I was hoping for the marathon that was Rollercoaster (cause I enjoy reading long, interesting fics), but I can't say this didn't end well and this is a much more plausible "Data turns human" story that I've read and it's by you, so... So, I take it the wedding will be an announcement that Tasha & Data have already gotten married? |
sleep-deprivated 6/2/11 . chapter 1Sigh, so fanfivtion wouldn't allow me to review on Chapter Seven, which means I have to opt for reviewing on Chapter One. I loved this chapter! It was lovely, it really was. They finally found their happy ending, didn't they? And they really, really deserved it - after all that they've been through, together. It was beautiful how things finally worked out for them. The concept of him with pale blue eyes is interesting, did you come up with that yourself or was it because of Parallels? 'We'll have to get a fruit basket delivered to the Continuum, or something.' xDD that sentence made my day. Your story was wonderful, and thank you so much, again, it was complete bliss reading Rollercoaster and Orpheus! My only regret is that it's really over now, which makes me sad :( it's like I've lost a best friend:( But then again, I can read them over and over again, and relive Data and Tasha, which makes me very very happy : 3 And finally, I digress - but during this whole saga, my favourite parts were the one where they encountered Fajo for the first time, after "The Most Toys" and they were talking over him in the brig; the scene with the unfortunate Morton and Data's disastrous yet hilarious activation of the emotion chip while he ranted at everyone in the vicinity; the Ba'ku chapters, where he realized he really loved her; the final chapter of Rollercoaster where she found his Wonderland hologram, which made me weep buckets, and finally, this last chapter, where it really is, happy ever after for them. I hope that Denise Crosby and Brent Spiner can get to read your fabulous stories someday, because I think they'd love them, just as I and countless other readers do. xo, and take care:) |
sleep-deprivated 6/2/11 . chapter 7YES! new chapter, I'm so happy! I shall come back with a review after I am done : DDDDD just had to let you know how ecstatic I was at seeing a new chapter up finally ! Thank you so much for this new chapter in advance, which I know will be fantastic: DDDDD |
Half-elf 6/2/11 . chapter 7This was so worth the wait. It was a wonderful story, a wonderful series actually, and I'm glad I had the pleasure of reading it. Amazing. |
Martienne 6/2/11 . chapter 7I'd been looking forward to this! I'm kind of surprised it wrapped up so quickly, but an author can let a story linger sometimes beyond the point where it's really tenable to continue. I think you wrapped this up at an appropriate place. |
ElfMaidenOfLight 6/2/11 . chapter 7Oh this was so totally awesome. On the one hand I am so happy, on the other- very sad this is all over. Such a great story, I can't even describe. One of my favorites of all time. Thank you so much! |
sleep-deprivated 5/1/11 . chapter 6Just finished reading all six chapters so far, and loved it! Great cliffhanger you have there, update fast : DDD And Data as a human! Perhaps that'll mean children for him and Tasha in the future? *wink |
smo13 3/16/11 . chapter 6i luv ur story! it gets better and better when r u gonna update it? Im really excited:) |
MizJoely 3/6/11 . chapter 6Yay, a new chapter! Don't worry, we've all been distracted by shiny new things...how is the baby, by the way? (BIG GRIN) Very intense chapter, can't WAIT to see how Tasha reacts to Data's new incarnation. So glad you're writing again! |
JudithAndHolofernes 3/3/11 . chapter 6Might I please misquoted Dickens & ask for MORE, please? Please update! OMG, this is sooooo good! You had me bawling my eyes out like a baby at the end of Rollercoaster... OMG, please write more! |
KrinWashu 2/14/11 . chapter 6Madam, you are absolutely brilliant and you have nothing to apologize for! I can't tell you how happy I am that you're still updating this wonderful saga of yours. Believe me, if each chapter took a year, still I'd hang on your every word for the next fifty. As usual, wonderful characterizations. Glad to see Graves' machine gone for good, though I figure Maddox is already coming up with ways to salvage something from it. Poklar's so bloodthirsty! I hate her but she makes everything so much fun, too. The Borg! Wow, she's crazy-evil. I'm glad Geordi and Deanna stayed back on the ship. Ah, one of your maddeningly awesome cliffhangers! Can't wait to see Tasha's reaction. For a moment there I thought the Borg ruse was gonna stick somehow and Data would manage to unwittingly escape from his would-be rescuers. Glad to see Tasha is right behind him! I know I've been a bad person and haven't replied to a couple of your previous messages, but I promise I'll reply one of these days, hopefully soon. I still can't believe we get your stories for free! I still feel I should be paying you somehow. Leaving a little well-deserved praise is the least I can do. Anyhoo, hope you had a very happy Valentine's Day! :D |
Half-elf 2/1/11 . chapter 6Shiny objects are so distracting, aren't they? That's why it's taken me so long to get to your wonderful story. Wonderful job. I can't wait to see their reaction to each other. |
MuseDePandora 2/1/11 . chapter 6I was incredibly thrilled to see this story updated. I completely understand the delay. Family and real life must always come first. Unfortunately, that's essentially my reason for not being able to leave you a more in-depth review here. I thought it was better to leave a short review than no review at all. I loved this chapter! It's a little strange to read Data as a human but you do an excellent job at it. It still feels like Data and I think that's a mark of your writing, more than anything. I also really like your Tasha Yar, not only in general, but specifically here. You've done well showing how this character would react to her history with Data and the loss of him and then this odd situation here. This was a hard chapter to read for me, because of the violence, but you did well not making it not needlessly overt. I felt for the characters, and that's why it was hard for me, not because it was over-described. And then that cliff-hanger! Wow. I'm waiting to see how Tasha reacts to all this. I look forward to when you next get the opportunity to update. |
igbogal 2/1/11 . chapter 6This action packed chapter was worth the wait! I really didn't think there could be further plot complications after the last chapter. Now, we have: a real or imagined Borg threat, a former android who may not have all the teeth or cheekbones he started with, and the possible problem of Data proving he really is who he says he is. Q must be having a ball watching everything, too...thanks for the update! |
