Quite a beautiful piece. I love how she has these feelings for James, but is unwilling to chase after him because she feels like she is too broken and he is too perfect. I'm personally a huge fan of the unrequited love because I think they make such fantastic stories.

The ending was also quite beautiful, where she still has feelings for him deep down, and she ends up breaking down when she hears about their deaths.

This is a fascinating idea for a ship, and once again, you did a great job with it. D I love Alice's characterization in this, that she won't pursue James because she thinks he deserves better than her-so heartbreaking! And I love the ending, from Lily and James's deaths onward-amazing writing.

Aw, this was so sad and sweet and somehow perfect at the same time! To be honest, I only clicked on this one because I was feeling in the mood for a rare pairing, so to speak, and while this was a little short, I still think it was wonderful. You managed to portray Alice so well, although I do wish you'd put in James's reaction to the note-I would've loved to see that.

But either way, amazing work, and keep writing!
