My favorite: sex used to show us something about the characters. I am so, so tired of the sappy, overly-romantic KuroFai this fandom is rife with; what I like here is the aggression of the sex, but also the underlying understanding and empathy on Kurogane's part. I think this is definitely how things could have been for them, at least in the beginning. Nice work.:)

i like the way that this is written. it's very interesting and suspenseful. it also presents a very well-constructed version of kurogane that is very much in character. he would definitely link sex to fighting. and i really like the way he gets to see the real fai in those moments, it's nice and yet sad at the same time. really good job!
