Nice use of elements from both shows. On one level I almost hope Ange and Jack find out, heck Jack would probably help them find a safe place to be or expose the special unit.

Bleah, Season 3 spoilers. But nice chapter all the same. I like that you show how badly Liz was hurt, and that she accepts Max's inherent flaws, but also that she's forgiven him. And Liz questioning Isabel's decisions, especially regarding her love for Jesse vs. her love for Alex. And nice B/B scenes as well.

Okay, caught up :0) I like Booth and Brennan but you seem to focus on them more than the Roswell aspect of the story..its sometimes hard to see how the two mix together in this story...

I have a question...who's Zach and why is he in an asylum and they not really have any emotion over it?

Is that Booth's son gripping Max's hand and what happened to Max?

The latter half of this passed very quickly. You're falling into the habit of more dialogue than filler again, and while it works here, because it's supposed to suspenseful, just bear it in mind. I like Brennan's wondering if she is idealizing Booth, her confidence and her doubts. Also "I'll have an Alien Blast" :) Me too...

Sorry haven't been keeping up as well with your story..haven't had a chance to sit and read it til now...I like how Brennan was rationalizing her feelings for Booth and whats going on between them..I do have one question...how specifically could Liz tell that Brennan and Booth had feelings for each other? do they look at each other like Michael and Maria do or something?

This is quite an interesting turn of events. Then again, considering the nature of the FBI in "Roswell," it's not as surprising as Brennan's remark on Booth's character. I'm quite in the dark as to what she meant by that, so hopefully you'll open that up again later on.

Another thing I like about this story (thought I might mention it in passing) is Liz's initiative. You really do have her character down-pat. I've seen her made into a total, Max-worshipping sap, so I'm glad that you've kept her Liz and not made her into a Bella. (Can you tell I don't like Twilight?)

At this point, you've kind of left us with a cliffie. (Heh, only one?) I'm wondering whether Liz could truly go in an kill so many people, even if they are antagonistic federal agents. After all, she voted not to kill Tess, who was a main source of all the trouble going on in the show.

In short, I'm waiting to see how this pans out. You've started a whole bunch of head-scratchers in this chapter!

There is so much win in this chapter, if you'll pardon the internet lingo. I know I keep repeating this, but the dialogue fits excellently. I like that Liz is still conservative about her sex life and anyone else's, to an extent that might be considered prudish but that's simple how she was raised. And I adore Brennan's attempt to rationalize her feelings. And then the lack of trust on both sides, Booth because they killed one of his own, and the Pod Squad because of...everything. More filler than anything, this chapter, but quite entertaining filler. Brava.

I just noticed that the genre is Angst/Romance. It's a little interesting, as there hasn't been much angst at all. Uh... anyway...

It was a pleasant surprise to find Booth and Brennan getting together so fast. Still, I can't help but hope that there's some turmoil in store for them; it'd be too utterly cookie-cutter to have all the romantic drama end now! (Being that we just barely touched the iceberg.)

Aside from shipping and romance, I did like reading it (as with the rest of the story). However, there was that one sentence at the end that was kind of confusing because of it's length. Still, I got what you were trying to say (albeit through Liz). Any chance of another Maria appearance, or perhaps, Michael?

And... *drum roll* we have lift off! Or at least, we have Maria. I love how nervous Isabel is, because it's just so typical of her to freak out like that. I also am glad you put a little bit of Kyle in. The only one we're really missing is Michael, and I'm really interested to see how he's going to react to all of this.

Liz can be devious and scheming (but always in a cute, innocent way). So, I'm hoping that her scientific mind can concoct a good plan to bring the anthropologist and the agent together. And yes, I did just make that up off the top of my head.

I like how we saw more of Bones in this chapter and it feels like a bridge chapter...I wonder where Booth went and what might happen when he returns...have a question..Liz has a son? This may be a stupid question but I don't know all of the series and am wondering when she had her son...

While this is more like a bridge chapter than anything else, I appreciate how often you're writing; it shows that you're putting a good amount of thought into the story. Might I just mention that in comparison to the last chapter, this one's pretty long? Not that it's a bad thing, but...hehe...

Your dedication to Bones is coming through here as I see her character coming to life on screen. (I was gonna say paper, but alas...) Anyway, I'm waiting to see how you'll finagle the rest of the pod squad into the story and how they'll convince Booth to "come to their side," so to speak.

I like how you added more characterization in the story..makes me feel more connected to the characters, so thanks for that...

I am surprised that they would tell Max and Liz's story to two people they barely know...how can they trust them that quickly? Also I'm surprised that Booth and Brennan weren't more suspicious and accepted the story so easily as well.

I am wondering if you should have included bits of Liz and Max's story that may be relevant to this story (if there are any parts that is)

I am also wondering if Booth's son was found by Isabel, Liz and Max for a reason?
