Why doesn't harry buy a new house, as much as he loves the house in the woods why not make the sacrifice for Jake? they can move back if the dad dies or use it as a vacation spot, but it isn't very practical being so secluded plus what if harry get hurt and needs help? like when he sprained his ankle and with the vampire, as much as i like the vamp, whose name escapes me, I think he should move.
