WOW. Just love the fact Tony opened up to G. and vice versa. Will the guys end up being friends and how is Gibbs and the MCRT team handling not having Tony with them? I think there is a good idea in this story- your Tony is pretty complex, which I think the show often glosses over in favor of his frat boy persona. And I have a soft spot for the Tony/Gibbs slash fics. That said, I think the story needs some work.

There are three main issues I found as I was reading. The first paragraph of chapter one starts out in the third person, referring to Tony as Tony, then switches to I. It needs to be consistant; a good beta would catch that for you.

Second, you throw a lot of rehashed info into dialogue; it would be better to assume that all that background is known to your reader, and just reference-briefly, precisely- the info you think is most important. Break up the dialogue with physical action. A story is not just what is in the mind of characters- fleshed out characters walk and drink and trip over their own feet.

The last point is a character point. Given that G also knows Gibbs, and that Tony didn't share his crush on Gibbs with the entire DC team- whom he was much closer to- I highly doubt that he would drop this on Callen like that. (Certainly not sober.)

I hope you continue this. I would like to see how it all works out.
