Aeidhryn 6/30/11 . chapter 1Whoa! I can't believe I actually liked it! Don't get me wrong, I did like it- but where Tiva babies, coincidences, and healing-years-later usually turns me off, you did a good job of keeping me interested, even though I basically knew the end result. And your small details- the risotto, the bunnies- kept it human. I liked it. You should read sequitur or look at saisoto's NCIS cartoons on deviantart. You might like them. So long, and have fun writing! aeidhryn |
Aquila1 8/23/10 . chapter 1This was really well done. You may have categorized it as humour, but it's really rather bittersweet. Great job making Jeanne a sympathetic character. Excellent work, as always. Makes me want to go back and reread Tether and Tangled Up. I might go do just that ... :) |
ProspektsMarch161 8/7/10 . chapter 1This is so ultimately awesome :) I like that you showed sympathy for Jeanne because I think it's how she would really feel, and compared to the whole let's-all-hate-Jeanne thing that happens in most fics like this, I think this is way more realistic (and the whole thing with her husband at the end is possibly the cutest thing i have ever read) So, yeah, Awesome :) |
YellinYee 7/27/10 . chapter 1Wee, a sequel - of sorts...is this more of a tag? - to Tangled Up! (That's one of my favorite fics, really) I don't like Jeanne but I don't hate her, either. Like Tony, I'm happy she's happy but she's obviously still very much affected by seeing him again. (But really, can you blame her? Having a Tony, DiNardo or DiNozzo, in your life and then learning the true deceptive nature of it all and being told it was all all a lie is truly damning and damaging.) At least she has Brent to go home to. He seems nice. Plus, a "gift for rhetoric" sounds very, very sexy...to me, at least. ;) Is it weird that I was overjoyed to learn Baby Boy DiNozzo's name from the end of Tangled Up? Because I was. And I was equally happy to get a glimpse of sassy Sadie's personality. That one is a firecracker, just like her mother, that's for sure. Tony and Ziva's moment after loading up their car was also so very sweet and *them.* So basically, I think I just wanted to let you know that I loved this. My only regret is that it took me three days to find after it was posted! 3 |
DobbyWobby 7/26/10 . chapter 1i really like this, this is really really good :) poor jeanne, at least she got a happy ending too! really good :) |
petuniatc 7/26/10 . chapter 1Thank you - we get to meet Sadie and Joshua! Plus it was nice to see Jeanne moving on with her life after Tony DiNardo. I like this - a lot. |
ScarletCourt 7/25/10 . chapter 1Glad to see a new story. Was wondering how you were doing this summer in between all the weddings you were attending. Would you believe that the renos are finally done! *Happy Dance* Now just getting our lives back in order. Not sure I've seen you tackle Jeanne before. Nicely done. You've actually made me feel sorry for her. Not sure I've felt that since she accused Tony of killing her father. Surprised to read that Jeanne actually only works 40 hrs. Being an emergency room physician (which is what I seem to recall she does), I would have figured a 60 hr week easy. :) At which point, being heavily pg and having to cook a business dinner would undoubtedly cause her to be at the end of her rope. Much too funny about the macaroni bunnies that Sadie is not fond of. My three year old protests that she will not eat specific foods but has yet to protest about the shapes of her food. Perhaps that is something that I will have to look forward to. lol. Aren't five year olds just compulsively honest? Sadie is just that. Tony is definitely a nice husband as he is willing to go grocery shopping with Ziva since many husbands avoid grocery stores like the plague, but I guess having a former assassin as a wife tends to take the option of not going out of his hands. :) Too funny that you made Jeanne marry a nerd! A successful business nerd, but a nerd nonetheless. Looking forward to anything you decide to post in the near future. P.S. I started this about 24 hours ago and just managed to finish now. I guess the joys of having a 3 year old to tend to and a busy weekend. |
Embolalia 7/25/10 . chapter 1Welcome back! Nice to see something new from you. You know, I don't think I've ever read a piece with Jeanne as a sympathetic character before! I liked her, too, though it was somehow sad that she didn't think to call her husband until she saw Tony and Ziva sharing a moment. Lovely piece! |
ThereIsAlwaysAnotherMonster 7/24/10 . chapter 1Very, very cute! I love it! Now if ONLY that would actually happen on the show... :( |
Rosette Lightwood 7/24/10 . chapter 1Really liked it. Twas such a good view of Tiva from Jeanne's point of view that I'm cheering. Lovely D |
zats 7/24/10 . chapter 1Always thought that they should meet again to resolve old feelings and misinformation. Thought you did a great job. Great story. |
tonyfan31970 7/24/10 . chapter 1A-w-e-s-o-m-e! Strangely enough, just this morning I was looking sadly at your page and wishing you would come out with something new- and here you are! Funny how that seems to work. Anyway, I LOVE Tangled Up- one of my top-10 faves in Tiva ff- so this was especially cool. It would be neat to have more of that, if you are ever so inclined. Liked the interesting angle coming from Jeanne to show the life of the characters. Yay for BB's return! |
diana teo 7/24/10 . chapter 1Gracious,that title's a mouthful! Great to have you back and I must say that you're in fine form! Brillaint,BRILLIANT thought out and beautifully written, with all the angst, detailing and subtleties you could ever hope for.I was totally in the zone with Jeanne, feeling all her emotions, and Tony's,too.I FELT for awkwardness was cringeworthy, and I reactions and responses,so real,so human, and completely you for this gem. |
Neko-Ochz 7/24/10 . chapter 1That was very interesting! I really like the fics with Jeanne and I like them even more when they are so well written. Very nice and really good idea. D |
M E Wofford 7/24/10 . chapter 1This was a good story. Although I am surprised I liked it cause I just never liked the Jeanne storyline at all. And I also hated the way Tony acted because she didn't deserve it, which you showed very well in this story. This story made me happier for Jeanne and for Tony. Your story made me wonder again if they are ever going to do an episode exploring the similarities between what Tony did to Ziva to what Rivkin did to Ziva, even to both of the young women winding up in Africa. |
