A very interesting and incredibly detailed beginning that can, if necessary, stand alone for the reader can supply their own interpretation of exactly where this fairy tale goes. And as we've forgotten in the modern world, fairy tales are not all sweetness and light, milk and cookies.

ron and many ways was just as brave as harry even more so since he could have walk away. beating the snake was just luck, but for every big fight ron was there risking his life.

Ok, I admit I didn't see THAT coming...

Ron's going to be real unhappy when Harry does manage to rescue Hermione and all the relationships change because of what happened. Methinks Ron just did a very firm job of alienating her permanently.

::snicker:: Oh brother! There clearly are some major differences between the two world lines and getting them resolved should be "interesting". I have to wonder if this Dumbledore is as bad as the one they have dealt with.

That was a good laugh there, and fun to think that they've got Ron as the BWL, and would wagerthe alt-Ron would be tempted to go after their Voldemort.

Someone drugged the wizarding world's water supply, didn't they?

I'm definitely going to have to watch this movie. At least more than the first five or so minutes.

Still, it's actually a very interesting start and quite well done. I definitely wanna know more about what sort of fate Hermione has in store for her should Harry fail, though, outside of becoming a goblin.

I also have to wonder why angry siblings couldn't cause this to happen all the time when they're young, too.

Anyway, only dislike is that it actually seems very interesting and it isn't going forward (for now, at least.)

oh, that's very good. i'm fairly convinced that ron could screw up a one car funeral procession on his best day.

the description of how the ministry wanted to use the three of them, and how Ron just settled for that was very good. while stories about how the three of them help to fix all of the things wrong in wizarding england are nice, the fact taht the institutional wrongness is so entrenched even Harry and Hermione couldn't reasonably be expected to make much of a dent in it

looking forward to seeing more of this. hopefully the goblins will be able to lure Harry into teaming up as cursebreakers together with hermione. Indiana Jones and Lara Croft take on the Ministry

Every time you post, I am impressed anew by your imagination and skill. I think I'd honestly like to see more of this - it beats all the "Harry is raised by Jareth" Labyrinth crossovers hands down.
