This is a great, great story. A classic in the Smallville fandom. Several years ago after I first discovered it, I printed out a copy and read it to my husband on a road trip we took across the country after first getting married. Even though he doesn't read fanfiction and is not a huge fan of Smallville, he was captivated by your writing style and the impeccable pacing of this story. As such, the story holds a fond place in my heart for the memories it invokes. Kudos to you and your lovely writing style; I hope to see some of your original fiction published someday.

A simple premise, absolutely just enough details but not enough to ever bog the story down. It flowed perfectly. And the emotions, so easy to identify with. This could be about anyone at anytime and it was beautiful. Thanks for writing!

You're a very gifted writer. I love how you describe things. In this particular fic, I love the moment Lex finds the stumbling, exhausted Clark on the road! It's so visual, so believable, so moving!
