well while it's nice that you're still writing this story when is it going to get good? i mean all you've been writing is godzilla causing destruction but when will the second monster appear? will it just be one monster that godzilla will fight? so many questions and so little answers well just do your best and keep writing when you can.

what do you mean lost track of this story? that doesn't make any sense well at least you didn't quit on this story anyway when's gigan going to appear? i sure hope that you will be writing more new chapters very soon and take so much ridiculous time to do it just this a really interesting story! please write what happens next and soon!

It's been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long.

I like this story a lot. There's 2 typos in the first chapter (waste/waist and tree/three), but they're not too bad. I also really liked how Gojira's attacking of the ship was presented as animalistic defense, instead of RAWR ITZ GIANT MONSTAR IT KEELS U.

Gojira is out for revenge. And huge. Plus there's Gigan. Lots of world-wide chaos. At least it's one of the few Godzilla fics that doesn't take place in Japan.

Don't worry about "Drawing it out too long" I think the longer the better. My ideal page size is measured by the scroll rectangle bar being so small it's a square. Sorry for my fanboyish geekasm in my first review. I was typing fast and hit "submit" before I could really check my work. I feel like a fool for mangling Godzilla's name into "Godilla". I normally add my suggestions for future chapters in separate reviews from ones that talk about how good the story is so far. But seriously good work so far and will there be other earth kaiju? (Mothra is still my other favorite.)

Oh, I get it, the enemy's going to be Gigan. Uh, not to offend but I would have preferred an enemy like King Ghidorah, SpaceGodzilla, Orga or even the Dark Horse comic monster Bagorah (to put it in short a mean-ass devil bat that looks as if a vampire bat had been humped by one of the Gyaos from Gamera).

I liked it,the new beggining thing is a nice twist,and makes for a good alternate setting.

Huh. This. story. is. cool. I skipped over this originally because I was afraid it was going to be too similar to the movie Gamera the Giant Monster. (which is ironic for a lot of obvious reasons and then things would come full circle.) This is actually good writing and now my mind is buzzing with cool ideas for something like an "Ultamitized" Godzilla universe. How about he explains the reason for the name as both the in-movie reason and toho's reason combined? that "It's the name of the terrible sea dragon from the legends of Oto Island. Also it's big arms kind of reminds me of the movie king kong that giant monster from that movie. The name kind of sounds like 'Gorira' but also kind of like 'Kujira' another big aquatic creature so that fits two." And the Americanized name comes from the news articles written by Steve Martin (not the comedian but the character from the American version of the movie.) Wow, It's only the first chapter but already in my mind I see an science fiction epic with; a bad-ass Dr. Serizawa, united world news shaking things up in the post WWII political world from the stories of Tokyo's destruction, an attempt to destroy Gojira by leading him to the Polynesian islands when the hydrogen bombs are being tested which not only fails but makes him BIGGER. The appearance of Anguirus who appears on the scene and Gojira goes antihero and helps the military fight him. It's finally decided that Godilla is still too destructive to exist and must be destroyed by Dr. Serizawa's invention and things go like the original movie with added dramatic internal monologues feeling sorry for the monster. Finally your OC Eric Shinmura goes to bed and tries to cope with these events and leave them in his past but in his dreams he is visited by the shobijin who tell him that the face of the world has changed and nothing will ever be the same again and he comes face to face with their goddess... (dramatic pause) Ah who am I kidding, Good literature and Godilla never last when combined and this will probably be a one chapter wonder. *sulks*
