Don't worry, I think Cody is in character. Noah was too, even more so. It seems just like him to confess his feelings to Cody in that way, instead of gushing and going on and on. I love the ending. It seems a bit sudden, but it doesn't end abruptly, and, as you said, it's open ended.

You ARE good at this pairing, I like how it's as close as possible it can be for them in talk exactly in-character that I could just imagine it as if it was an actual episode. Not that other NoCo fanfics are bad but sometimes what they say is too long or just OOC. This one got it perfectly
