ICanStopAnytime 7/30/12 . chapter 1Give Lyla's father and her own past of having cheated on a serious boyfriend, I don't think it's impossible that this could be Lyla in the future, though I do think the pain she inflicted through her cheating, and that her father inflicted on her family, coupled with what really is a sensitive conscience on her part, would have deterred her from a repeat, especially after the full commitment of marriage. Still, it's an interesting idea to explore. I like how you have her think about the various characters in her life, even how she is not living up to the example of Mrs. Taylor. I wouldn't have guessed her for becoming a counselor, so that's interesting. |
