You had some really effective off-hand comments throughout, the bit with Will picking up that Syd had been watching Kings games on TV was cute, and his genuine thanks when she agreed to go to the game...and a plausible chance meeting between Syd and Vaughn! So often, IMO, authors don't pull that off and only make it seem contrived, but I thought you really weaved that in to be realistic. Great job! |

My only nitpick is the punctuation errors in your dialogue... Incorrect: "Let's." Vaughn answered, awaiting the next question. Correct: "Let's," Vaughn answered, awaiting the next question. Yes, I know it's nitpicky, and it's only a comma, but you make the mistake throughout the entire story, and it bugged me (I'm a future high school English teacher, so bear with me!). Other than that, your story was great! Thank you for the Saturday morning smiles! |
