...wow. Just wow. I feel so bad for Arthur but at the same time... just wow.

This was absolutely stunning. I enjoyed it so, so much. I could feel Ariadne's bitter pain but the way you wrapped things up in the end just smoothed over everything magnificently. I've come to really appreciate the Robert/Ariadne pairing. It's really nice to read something fresh like this after spending so much time poring over Arthur/Ariadne fics. :)

Oh lord this is absolutely lovely. I just rewatched Inception and fell even more in love with Robert Fischer so I've been looking for stories that involve his character. He's in the background mostly but I feel his presence through Ariadne. I love how you're written her. This is amazing.

You know, I am usually a sucker for happy Arthur/Ariadne fics. But this- this works. And of course Ariadne would feel the pain and irony of being told that she's the "woman of his dreams"... poor girl. I liked this very much. Arthur's a tiny bit of a prick, but it works. You have actually made a part of me ship Fischer/Ariadne, and I salute you!

This was a truly beautiful piece of fiction, with lovely, lyrical writing and with parts that were slightly abstract, which is what I truly like, yet still easy to follow.

I am really starting to love the Ariadne/Robert pairing, much more than Arthur/Ariadne. With Ariadne/Robert, there's a certain vulnerability present, as well as an urgency and unspoken understanding. I think you showed that well. I really enjoyed the tension inside Ariadne, it was almost palpable. Good job on that. Also, good characterization of the characters.

I am really glad that she chooses Robert in her heart in the end; this time, for all the right reasons, overcoming her guilt and the need to atone herself in his eyes. That becomes love. Great transition.

All in all, a wonderful job!

never realized it before but yeah.. given ariadne's "overly helpful" personality this could actually happen.

Okay. My thoughts are jumbled. Hmm...

First of all, every time you write something new, it's better than the last thing you posted. Which seems impossible because I think everything you write is brilliant. But it's true, anyway.

Secondly, your story is easier for me to read than the film was to watch. I had a really hard time watching the movie. It honestly freaked me out. A lot. I don't know why. It just did. I loved the characters but the idea of it just deeply disturbed me. But reading your story is kind of soothing and it makes the notion of inception, etc. easier to think about.

Thirdly, Ariadne is a BAD PERSON! First, she plants ideas in Robert's brain. Then she can't wait for Arthur so she falls in love with Robert who has no idea what she's done and then she CHEATS on him with Arthur? Much respect for giving Ariadne some deep-seated and disturbing flaws.

Fourthly, the writing is spectacular. Some wonderful word pictures here - I love the bit about her name. And the description of Arthur's walk and dress. And Robert in his pajamas. But poor Robert! And poor Arthur!

Fifthly, my understanding of the end is that there is Ariadne in reality and Ariadne in dreams? I'm probably totally wrong.

Anyway. Yes. It's really good!

Amazing. It was all so real; the charcterization, the plot, the emotion, dear God, the emotion. Easily one of the best Inception fics, and miles ahead of my own drab prose.
