Cleo the Muse 4/22/03 . chapter 1
Wow. And I do mean 'wow.' I wouldn't have figured Tom for quitting Starfleet, but you've managed to make it fit in character.

Excellent job!

Always a good read when you post

Seema, your writing never fails to move and this one is no exception. It's a wonderful companion piece to Rocky's "Glory Days," giving us more insight into life after Voyager for Tom and Janeway.

It's not bitter, but tinged with sadness, regret and loss. I think they both realise that almost everything else in their lives will be seen (even to themselves to a large extent) as some sort of anti climax.

A mature, thoughtful look at Janeway and Paris that was, for me, extremely true to both their characters. Not an off note in the whole piece; beautifully written and memorable as much for what it did not say, as for what it did.

Wonderful introspective piece, holding a definite degree of realism in vividly describing the emotional onslaught that accompanies change. I could visualize the scene as if it were being played out before my eyes. And the characterization was superb.

Beautifully written. Kind of sad for both of them but especially Tom. He's had to give up so much. Is there a sequel in the works?

Now this was a powerful piece! I loved it. The characters felt so realisti.

Brigning Tom's feeling of retlesness and how it usually get him in trouble

was a smart move. It is so true for both of them actually. I felt sorry that they arrived home.

They both belonged in the DQ.

Thank you for sharing.

Isabelle
