Holy smucks. You know, I've spent my entire evening reading this and was planning on dropping by a review while I was done (because this is quite positively one of the most epoc things I've read on this site) but then I noticed the reviews and my brain kind of froze.

This. I have no words for the sheer brilliance of this story. And I say that while writing frantically on my phone. I like your OC because she's human and different from the OC I'm used to seeing here. Your story telling is engaging and up-front and I'm quite frankly in love with your story.

I want to explain properly but it will have to wait until I have a computer. Until then, know you have an avid fan itchibg to write a page-long praise.

Okay, I'm tired for staying up too long but I just couldn't stop reading this! Absolutely loved it:D

Fantastic story, and very well written. All around great job, seriously. You wrote both Yamamoto's fantastically, I loved your OC. Kinda tired so I'm not gonna do a long review, but I agree Edith your choice of using the new ending over the original. Just felt more satisfactory. Oh, and this story definitely deserves more reviews...but the reason it doesn't is most likely due to the fact you have it listed under jushiro shunsui. The nuts who believe everyone in bleach should be gay are not gonna read a straight pairing, and those of us who don't think the bleach cast is gay are not gonna be searching under the jushiro shunsui listing (for instance, I found this while just lookin up stories with jushiro.) anyway, that's what I think your review problem is comin from (or rather, lack of reviews). But again, fantastic job, really loved it.

P.s. Forgot go mention that I also loved the shishi, you really made him come to life.

Wow... Never have I ever read a story with such good grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. You have definitely blown my mind. Great Job! I'm liking the story very much.

This is, hands down, the longest fanfiction I have ever read. -And it was completely worth it. Though most people probably stopped reading half way because of it's length, I found it to be one of the best parts. Characters and the plot line developed very nicely, more so than other fanfiction I've read. I very much enjoyed this story (Ukitake FTW!) and honestly prefered the new ending versus the alternate. Keep writing! Great story!

Okay, so all I can say is that this story is totally awesome! Obviously you put so much time and effort into researching the characters and making them as true as you possibly could. I'm very impressed. Thanks for making Ukitake one of you main characters, I've always thought he was someone we should see more of...he's so pretty! Your care and attention to detail really shows. If only all of the contributors would spend half as much time checking their p's and q's. Well, well done!

first of all, thank you for reviewing my story! Like you, I worry about my character bieng a mary-sue and I can't spell, in case you couldn't tell. I love Minako-good character! as for the Muramasa arc, I think my three favorite Zanpakto spirits are Zambimaru, Haineko and Senbonzakura...

HAHA! I was just about in hysterics during the scene where Ukitake shows up, escorted by Yoruichi, and Minako is in PJs. This line in particular made me giggle:

"Indeed. I would have had to eat them. Something tells me blonde does not taste well."

Maybe it's because it's 3 AM that I find all this a little more funny that it should be? Or perhaps my sense of humor is just twisted beyond all recognition? Who knows? Certainly not me.

Can't wait to read more, but good Lord, I'm tired. It is definitely time for bed. Have a happy Easter!

Oh, and I forgot to add, I absolutely LOVED this line. For some reason, it almost made me fall off my chair laughing.

Hey, I just came across your little (not) fic here, and am very, very impressed. Disregarding some of the heavy issues that have been brought up, it is very difficult to make an OC seem so real and fit in so well with the canon characters. She has a real personality, with all the little (and not so little) issues and quirks that come along with it, which I very much appreciate. I wish I could develop a character half so well as you have done these first few chapters.

And, as far as the issues of humanity go, what true literary work doesn't delve into those? Now, I may be using the term "literary work" loosely by some definitions, applying it to a fanfiction, but perhaps not. To me, a literary work is a story used as a tool to explore the world around us, either through a fictional world created expressly for the story or the real one in which the story is created, and that is precisely what you have begun to do here. (So, that last sentence didn't seem to make a whole lot of sense, but hopefully you catch my drift.)

To make a long story short, I see hours of enjoyable reading ahead for me. This is brilliant.

excellent story. I started reading it yesterday and finished today. All 40 chapters in two days, well maybe one because i did work yesterday and cleaned my house and went shopping today. That is a very indepth and exciting story to read. As you can gather I had trouble putting it down. And so everyone knows my opinion in the matter, Ukitake is the sexiest one in bleach and you did a great job with him. I love. Keep up the good work. :)
