AtanaM 8/18/10 . chapter 10Hummm, But the question is... Who did she double cross? On the surface it looks like Spock and Nyota, but I'm not convinced of that. We never found out what, "the plan" was and this very well could have been it. Actually shooting Spock was unexpected by Nyota... but very necessary if T'Sera was to be believed. If she'd faked it she'd be dead as soon as the transporter rematerialized on the Romulan ship. This way she can blame the other Romulan operator for "messing things up" and "forcing her to act" in such a regretable way. And if Vulcan intellegence has a decent spin doctor... they could make the whole thing go away. LOL... on second thought that spin doctor better be a Human or a Ferengi... Vulcan's are lousy liars. And as for watching Nyota. T'Sara had confirmation that Spock had feelings for Nyota... she did not however have confirmation that Nyota had feelings for Spock.. until that look. Now she knows. But misguided or evil though she may be... I don't think she'll rat them out. Unless I'm totally reading you wrong that is. |
StillStacie 8/18/10 . chapter 10Double Cross indeed ! That Bitch , I knew I hated her for a Spock. |
shighola 8/18/10 . chapter 10Can I take a moment to say I knew it! T'Sera was shady from the beginning, there was no way she was gonna be on the level with Spock and Nyota. |
Josie010 8/18/10 . chapter 10Wow! Did she really shoot Spock! I actually wouldn't be surprised if she did. The statement from Nyota has me worried. You're a master at twist and turns - so I can't wait to read the details of what has actually taken place! Also, some of T'Sera's musing in this chapter really sticks out to me because they have the potential to be loaded with a villainous undercurrent. This line: "How easy it is to bring pleasure to these young people—a little personal attention and they are so…cheerful" She was raised by human parents, but something about her musings here seems loathsome or invidious. It's a very interesting thought from her before she engages the student in conversation. Makes me wonder what some of her thoughts have become since being involved with these spy agencies. "But something else, too. Possessiveness? Affection?" She garnered some of the same reactions from Spock when she ran her "your young man" comment to gauge Spock's reaction. She seems to be in denial or disbelief in what she is witnessing between S/U. "No one has ever looked at her quite that way." ...and there! She seems to drift out of the denial to acknowledge what she is witnessing. I felt sorry for her in this moment; but I don't think T'Sera is playing nice in regards to Spock and Uhura at all! She may have implemented "The Double Cross" indeed! This is such a fun read! I look forward to the final chapter! |
KristinaLeigh 8/18/10 . chapter 10I hope Spock is ok! |
Minted Rose 8/18/10 . chapter 10Oh no! She shot Spock! Is this a double double cross against both Spock and the 2 Romulans? Is it join me (lol, Darth Vader's voice) or die, or is it if I can't have Spock, Nyota can't have him either, so I'll just go back to Romulus, or is it all part of the plan and she plans to execute the 2 Romulans to protect Spock? Stay tuned... Notes, I've never has so much fun reading a story. This is terrific! |
Aashlee Elizabeth 8/18/10 . chapter 10And the plot thickens yet again! Thank you for this engaging story. I always look forward to updates. |
Kryska 8/18/10 . chapter 10wow, I'm lost! I thought this was part of the plan, but it seems that I was wrong. Please, update soon! |
Linstock 8/18/10 . chapter 9Is she really a double agent though? Is she a triple agent (if there is such a thing!) And I don’t think she is noticing Spock’s possessiveness oh Nyota just so she can back off and play nice. She was after Spock *huff*, she infected him *double huff*. Still don’t trust her. |
junewilliams7 8/18/10 . chapter 10Ack! The Romulans heard Ny say "But you said—" so T'Sera really needs to have a good story for that. Now how will she get away from Romulus once she gets the info? Spuhura may never know. Eeks! Thank for telling us for sure that T'Sera was contacted by Vulcan Intelligence. I'm going to hope she shot Spock with green paint that resembles blood. |
Babita 8/17/10 . chapter 9OMG! This gets more and more exciting with each chapter! I'm still not sure how I feel about Dr. Stoddard. Please, please continue. |
Bandbabe 8/17/10 . chapter 9Yea, it totally changes how I view T'Sera. Being a double agent is super dangerous and highly noble. Takes major cojones. I really hope she isn't killed but given the history of the TOS universe.. then again, this takes place in the reboot universe ;-) I'm glad that Spock kept his composure. If he had told her to leave without hearing her out, she'd be much worse off. Can't wait to read more! |
CocoChanel88 8/17/10 . chapter 9wow, was not expecting that. |
T'Soy 8/16/10 . chapter 9Okay, it's official you are evil personified! That's Okay, I’ll just make a loop in my rope and sit comfortably until you post the next chapter. Being a double agent must take a lot of energy, remembering what lie you told to whom. Are you taking notes to keep things straight in your own head! I’m getting dizzy just trying to keep thing straight. Thanks for posting |
faithspeaks 8/16/10 . chapter 9Double agent...didnt see that one coming..this adds a layer of complexity to the story. I am not sure if I trust T'Sera fully ..even with this reveal Spock seems to be the key here. T'Sera's feelings for Spock may be compromising her judgment. And I love how Nyota is picking up these "clues" with T'Sera. The fact that she sees T'Sera sweating seems like a red alert and that whatever plan she comes up with can't be trusted. All I can say is that I am really enjoying this story and I am looking forward to see what tricks (or plan) T'Sera has up her sleeve! |
