You've done it again; you've induced me into a blubbing rant. I don't know if this can possibly be more beautiful than the 'Hope' but it is definitely equal; I can feel how the narrator must despair at seeing the one he loves weep-though I've never really been in such a situation you write with such accuracy I feel like I can *relate*.
