This was a good short story but what terrifies a Vulcan (besides of a Vulcan male I pon farr far away from his mate or being single at the time of pon farr)?

Thanks for the review. I understand your frustration. Actually, the whole point of the story was to leave it hanging like I did. In real life, we don't always have the luxury of having everything tied up in a neat package. They've even done it a few times in the various episodes. But to be honest, there is a continuing story to this. I have recently finished a multi-part story called "What Price Logic?" that picks up from where this story left off. You might also want to check out "One Mans' Logic". It will help to understand "What Price Logic?" when I do post it. Again, thanks for the review.

This one has some problems. Though well-written and true to characterization, the abrupt ending without any clear concept of what happened makes the effort rather pointless. Are there to be further chapters? If so, call me wrong and anxious for the next installment. If not, I'd consider it. This is certainly an interesting premise.
