As for Seyla, it comes from an old board-top game called Batteltech, also known as Mechwarrior. There is a group of badasses called the Clans in there and it is one of their phrases. It means something along the lines of "Let it be so" but with a bit more force behind it. Sort of like, "We will make it so."
