Interesting. I like the idea of Edison taking Bryce on as an apprentice reporter, with an eye towards handing the reins over to him someday. After all, in the series, Bryce did end up doing some work as a controller in an episode.

I have to wonder if this (or some variation) might have happened if the series hadn't been cancelled.

I've been re-watching Max Headroom lately, and I could actually see where they could have done an episode centered around this idea if the show had survived longer than it did.

You've done a good job keeping everyone in character - Bryce especially - and the dialogue reads like it could have been taken directly from the series.
