Aquila1 8/16/10 . chapter 1This is beautiful work. I haven't read much NCIS fic lately, but I'm glad I poke my head in on your page now and then. It was such a pleasant surprise to discover this gem. Your characterization of Ziva is spot-on and you have a great turn of phrase. Terrific writing, as always. |
Ele Goddess of Elements 8/9/10 . chapter 1that was fabulous :) |
Mooncombo 8/7/10 . chapter 1This was perfect! Nicely done! "What I can promise you," he begins with a smile just as lethal, "is that I will be here with a designer tie for you to wipe your snotty nose on whenever you need it." What a great DiNozzo line. ) |
ProspektsMarch161 8/7/10 . chapter 1I don't review your stories enough! I absolutely love them and this one is just so well-written on something that loads of people do (I'm also seriously excited for this plot-ish story) x |
tonyfan31970 8/6/10 . chapter 1I missed this somehow on the index- just came by it because as usual I'm rereading one of your pieces. Can't wait to see this longer fic you're working on! Hope it's up soon! Fanfiction is what keeps me going through these long 4 months of summer... |
P. Hershberger 8/6/10 . chapter 1Yay! I can't lie, I was so excited to see a new Tony/Ziva piece by you! :) This was absolutely lovely. You portrayed Ziva perfectly. Fantastic job! |
M E Wofford 8/6/10 . chapter 1You may not understand physics but you understand Ziva very well indeed. Excellent story. Just excellent. |
Belker 8/6/10 . chapter 1Beautiful. I felt it in my stomach; the fluttering that one fells when truly in love. Those two... *sigh* |
ScarletCourt 8/6/10 . chapter 1So glad to see something new from you so soon! :) Lovely reflections from Ziva using the fundamental forces of nature. My first major was in physics so this was nice to see. Alas, I loved physics much more than it loved me. lol. Loved the weak force and how you compare it to how she learns of love. As the force that manages radioactive decay and neutrino interactions, it's like how her father uses 'love' to get what he wants The electomagnetic force is pretty obvious, but you use it nicely with the electricity that courses through each other's touch while the magnetic pull between is ever present. I would have figured you would have used the gravitational force over a longer distance like when she was in Israel or Somalia because though weak is long-ranged. As for the strong force, it was nice to see Tony be right there for her. As the strong force is very strong but very short ranged. Overall a lovely piece as always! |
YellinYee 8/6/10 . chapter 1"She loves him because she cannot remember how not to love him." And *that* is the point of no return, when Ziva, however unwittingly and unknowingly, discovered love. (In case you couldn't tell, that's my favorite line. I might not be making any sense because it's late - I really shouldn't read when I'm tired but I can't help it! So, if I don't make any sense, I blame fatigue...) All of the metaphors and figurative language wraps up Ziva's conflicting emotions - what she feels but knows she doesn't want to, her heart vs. her mind - and presents them in an easier to swallow package. Well, for her. The reader knows that she and Tony are so wonderful together. It's only a matter of time. And perhaps a few dozen designer ties to be used in place of tissue...? Hee. I'm sure there's more I wanted to say but I've forgotten already, drat! Just know that I love this? |
diana teo 8/5/10 . chapter 1how I feel about she single word. The smidgeon of action was good, too, showing their ability to 'move as one'. And the AU section when they're together was just the right touch of sweet and tender. Lovely piece. |
WinchesterSmile 8/5/10 . chapter 1that was a beautiful fic :D |
