Original story. (Never saw one like that), but it would have make more an impact if Estel could say ada, instead of Lord or Sir. It looked to much as if Estel was some kid off the street he pick up then his own son.

The tone his too cold in the part of Estel and a little bit for Elrond.

this is a father who correct is son because he had done something wrong one to many timw. This is the story about a son who know he was doing something bad to his father.

this is not like a marchand who spot a young boy stealling fruit in the stand and correct him where his stand.

Anyway, original story and that always good. Interesting point of views.

Ps. Altought, I must admit, its difficult to see Elf spanking their children, but that just me.

I do not believe Elrond would spank any of his children, including Estel. That seems to me like it would be a human thing to do, and being elves, they would be much more above whipping their children. Also, why would Estel call Elrond 'sir' and 'lord' insted of father? It seems to me that you wrote this thinking Estel likes getting whipped.
(EX: Although I never really knew my real father, it was good just the same to have Elrond there to correct me.)

Why does Aragorn call Elrond sir, wouldn't he call him Father or something like that. Very good story though.
