I love Satine's musings on wishing to be free of the attentions of other men now that she's a married woman. And kudos for her suspicions about Paul; you never dumb her down. I adore your depiction of Satine as a matter of fact.

Of all the stories that give Christian a sister, your Margaret may be one of the few (if not the only one) who doesn't: 1)Come off as a "mary sue" character (not that there's anything wrong with insertion if it's well done, but your margaret is a character in her own right, not just a fantasy wish-fulfillment of you, dear author), and 2)she is also perhaps the only "Christian's sister" I can think of who isn't simply a girl of 20 transported back to 1900, but actually thinks and behaves in a manner that seems quite plausible and realistic for an upper-middle class girl of that time.

A pity you've never finished this! You're one of the best writers in this catagory, and your multi-chapter stories have the distinction of being amoung the rarities in this catagory that are true to the film while building and fleshing out the characters in believable ways.

I started with “The Price of Love” and read all the way through, tonight. Okay, you…have had me crying my eyes out, laughing hysterically, sighing happily…*giggles* your pen name was well chosen.

I think your work is absolutely amazing. I love the characters you’ve created, and the ones you’ve developed out of Satine and Christian. And it’s beautifully, brilliantly written; I love the description, and dialogue…I am totally in awe.

I love this story and I can't wait for more! As soon as I finished The Price of Love I started reading this one. But I just thougt of something. What about Satine's dream to become an actress? Are you going to make her become a star like she always wanted?
