I mean, they both know just how dangerous their job is, but they have personal values and standards of their own that they refuse to let go of, for better or for worse. I think that comes across very clearly here, and helps them stand out as individuals instead of "suits in a crowd." Nice work! |

I know FFnet's evil with links, so feel free to just pass me the username if you can; I tried to do a search for Covert Affairs and Auggie, Annie and Auggie, etc., but came up with nothing. The Covert Affairs Fic community there looks so brand-spanking new that there's nothing there yet, either. :( Anyway, fanfic! I like the realizations Annie came to in this! I especially like how flabbergasted she was by Dani's approval of Auggie, especially after just a few moments of conversation and a handshake. I think many "Auggie meets the family" fics have Dani approving of him right away, and I'd like to think she's more sensible and discerning than that, even if she doesn't outright say exactly what she's thinking (e.g. Michael maybe having an affair, Annie's a spy). Good work! |
