This was really lovely. I'm not a Marlene/Denzel shipper, either, but man, you wrote Marlene's unreciprocated feelings for Denzel so well that my heart ached for her. The way you went from scene to scene and how they got older was really well done. Though each scene was short, they flowed beautifully.

i love denzel, and i love marlene (when the story is about her and denzel) and i loved this. this was so... i can't think of a word, but when i find one, i'll tell you. its funny, because i feel like this is what would really happen when denzel and marlene grew up... poor marlene.

do you notice how all denzelxmarlene onesided, are always marlene pining after denzel? why can't denzel be the woobie for once:P?

This made me feel so bad for Marlene (though I may be biased; I adore Denzel/Marlene to death)! The fact that she'd always had Denzel since they were young, and how she just kind of figured they'd end up together. So sad.
