I love your stories! Especially your portrayal of Filch, his job, his point of view. The people who have that kind of job become uncannily observant, and they are often underestimated, treated as if they were invisible. You convey that very well! Keep it up please!
Anohter nicely characterised story. The mentions I've seen elsewhere of Filch's detentions don't seen to show much "punishment fit the crime", perhaps he's had enough of mindless cruelty now...
There you are! I'd stumbled across one of your stories when I was at work and didn't have time to read it carefully, and then I couldn't remember your name to find them again. Now I've had the time to read this one, I won't lose track again! What a wonderful job of bringing Filch out of the shadows!
I'd just like to say that I thought this fanfic (as well as all of the other Harry Potter fanfics you've posted on ) was simply wonderful. I read a lot of fanfic, but I rarely ever write reviews. Usually, the fics are either lacking in proper grammer, style, or creativity, but I have to say, I'm impressed by the way you've written yours. Snape's my favorite character, but I have to say Filch is an equally interesting but highly underrepresented character. Usually, I'm not a fan of first person p.o.v., but you've done a great job telling these stories from his perspective.
Just wanted to say good job, and can you tell me what your usual posting schedule is?
Again I read your Filch POV story, and again I like what I read. I'm enjoying this series immensely, and I do hope you continue. Filch is a very neglected character, and you truly make the man come alive in three dimensions, rather than the somewhat two-dimensional character that appears in the books. Of course, since the books are from Harry's POV, JKR is somewhat limited in how she can portray the other characters, but this is where fanfic authors come in, and talented ones like yourself make it all enjoyable. _ Well done!
