Okay, I'm offically confused - first this seemed a tale of slavery (I assumed it was slash, my mistake) - now the "Master" is Rick's half sister - they have dreams, and are moving out. It's interesting to say the least - what a plot twist, I don't usually like OCs and I was fully prepared to hate the "Master" - but now he/she seems a entirely diffrent person. Ah, well - do update agian - someday, pretty please?

I'm so glad you continued this story I've never quite gotten over my fear for poor Ardeth when was he was sold at auction. I dreamed about that for nights on end! Just when I was about to relax at his rescue, you put him in danger again!

Oh well, maybe I can dream some more. LOL

I love this story! Your characters are realistic and believable and your style is powerful and compelling. I could hardly wait for each chapter, sometimes for months, you bad girl. But each time, it was and is most definitely worth the waiting.

Gods above how could you? I was hanging on the end of my seat for the first three chapters, never read anything like them. The way you described the slave bidding scenes were perfect! Brothers love and dreams perfect! But then... ack you fell and couldn't pick yourself up. It was astounding. Such outstanding writing as in your first couple chapters is rare, like I said I could barely sit still I was jumping up and down with excitement. But then you turned the bad guy into good and they all went out of character as if... as if the story no longer mattered. It was meaningless. *Sigh* I'm sorry if that was harsh. I've had it happen to me before too and remember this is just one person's opinion. By all means please keep writing and maybe you can regain what was lost. I loved your different views on characters for the first half and your knowledge of the Egyptian language was inspiring. I love it when people do that. Anyways good luck from now on. If it shapes up I'll put it on my favorites list. Never stop trying. Oh yeah... Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh yeah...I love this story! Nasir brays like a camel in heat! A camel tried to get inside his tent once...I love it! Then he sounds like an avalanche...interesting...then the best of all...the snorting of a pig! Even though I don't like Nasir, well, I thought it was a wonderful way at getting to him, and then I was thinking about the humiliation he was experiencing...but it 'was' funny!...lololol Actually, I really think he deserved being picked on...the jerk!

Rick and Fennec are brother and sister, great...I was hoping that Rick wasn't fooling around on Evy.

Much to Ardeth's relief, I might add. But poor Ardeth and the price he had to pay for his accusations, but then, neither Rick or Fennec explained their relationship.

Now, the dreams they share are forcing them to leave earlier than anticipated. I wonder what price they will have to pay for the haste? Will Ardeth's condition worsen? Will the Medjai(excluding Nasir, of course!...well, maybe he might see her in a new light, huh?) recognize Fennec's true worth when the chips are down?

Sorry, I have this big problem...lol...I love to analyze stories/chapters...not just to read them...hope that doesn't bug you.

I understand about having writers block as well as things from everyday life interfering with our blessed means of escape...but I hope that you will be able to write more soon...I love this story! Keep going...hope the writers block is gone...
