Next time, before I get too much into a story, I should look at the update date... I really don't have much hope for it now, seeing as it's been so long. But I really think you should continue with this. Please do! It's an amazing plotline, and an interesting brew of drama/humour/crime/ninjas :)

Just saying though, I'm sure you know the feeling, so dissapointing. Loving this story so much- but then losing all hope that it's going to be continued. Say your favourite anime got canceled- how'd you feel? :/

How did I miss this? This was, again, highly amusing. Team 7's concern was cute, as was Genma's worrying/plotting. Anko's irritation was fun, too. But the highlight of the chapter was, of course, Iruka. I am LOVING how he's evading the truth serum - not fighting, just redirecting. It's hilarious. And Giichi's line was easily the best in the chapter. "Oh, he's talking... Now would you please make him shut up?"

Please, please, please write more! This is sooooo good! God, I sound like one of my own annoying fangirl reviewers. I really suck at reviews, so it can't be helped.

Downhill? What could possibly be worse..

Oh, I see. Kakashi shows up with Naruto, who barges in and effectively blows Iruka's cover, Sasuke calls Naruto names and as usually, Sakura does never more than enough to either put Naruto in the hospital or nothing at all. and Iruka doesn't exactly got all his marbles right now so it seems like Kakashi's the adult here... When will the serum wear off? And if one ounce is enough to purge secrets, would an extra seven affect the wear time/possibly damage his body? He's sober back in Konoha..

Ha, gotta love Anko. You too? No, you didn't blow the cover but you stopped picking info out of Bluey. And you more or less copied the Copy Nin's line from Chapter 2, "Risking a glance at the chunin, Kakashi could only hope that Iruka appreciated what he was putting himself through for his sake." vs Anko's "The things I do for you boys…"

Interesting how Sasuke's worried about Iruka too. Like you put it, just because he doesn't care does not mean he never did.

Funny to see Anko taking advantage of Blue like that- that one of the ninja he's so good at sensing is right there in his face. Obviously, his boss will put him on the rack.

Iruka's first kill- a Goldfish? AWWW, now I see his sad little chibi face... NO! Not the chibi face!

"Now would you please make him shut up?"

... does not bode well at all... not very well at all...

Wonder what Iruka will have to say about Kakashi letting the genin come along? I get the feeling that might get him out of his stupor...

Really, things go more downhill than they are currently? That will be an interesting read. Well, I can't wait for your next update, so I hope it comes soon. Good job on the chapter by the way; there were no spelling/grammar errors and you caught the personailities of the characters well, in my opinion.
