Incredible story! I really enjoyed it! Perfect!

In my opinion, this is pretty close to perfect. Both Booth and Brennan are very much in character, and your writing creates vivid scenes.

One nitpick: “He takes out the duty free catalog and tries to find something really cool for Parker and tries not find something for Bones (because it's duty free and they've got perfect things for everyone).” [I think you meant to say ‘and tries not to find something for Bones’ in this sentence.]

If I had to pick a favorite bit (which would be difficult, because I loved almost everything), it would be this section:

“They nod to each other, ask about flights, staring in a way that pretends that they aren't. They each thought it would be easier now.” [Beautiful, a bit heartbreaking, and very real. Issues don’t go away just because people have been separated for a while.]

Good stuff! Just the right balance of sadness and humor and hope.
