Like you I'm not that good at writing poems but I still do it anyway. However I think that this is quite cute and very full of meaning. Please keep doing the wonderful job you are now and don't let one flaw in your writing keep you down. Keep working and who knows, maybe one day you'll become a famouse writer. I think your actually pretty good in poetry...'sweeter than all the roses' is a bit of a clichée but otherwise it's really, really good. I liked it.
