I like the way you flesh Nick out. It adds depth.

I had to read this book for my english class and i have got to say my all time fave character is Nick.

I agree! I love the character of Nick basically because there is barely anything known about him. I had to write an essay for The Handmaid's Tale and it was tiring I'll tell you. Love this a lot. :)

Good story. Valkara, there's a scene in the beginning where they list several names, including June. Since June is the only one not mentioned again, many people suspect it is Offred's real name.

I have two questions:

1. Why would the Commander know Nick is not really a Guardian?

2. Who is June? There isn't any character by that name in the book *or* the movie.

Otherwise, good story.

This is very good. Atwood's style is very interesting and original and so can be difficult to copy so congratulations youve done a pretty good job. It's nice to see part of the story from a different POV as its pretty much just Offred (apart from the tiny Moira bit).
