Wow, I really like this. I especially love the first paragraph and first sentence-no matter what Beatrix did, she'd always be herself. Interesting how Elle finds Beatrix's actions laughable, and yet she knows she's in this deadly game and lives for it. You wrote it very well..her thoughts, everything. I hope you write more. Great job on this short and sweeet introspective piece on Elle!
