Wow, that came unexpected. The chapter I mean. I almost gave up hope that there would be a new one Soooo...I guess this last message is kinda important. My guess is, that Jacobus doesn't actually have Veronica and that he is just bluffing and that Dave will screw things up by rushing to the apartment to save her. Also, I think that last message could be from Balthazar.

It's interesting how quickly Balthazar (Did I spell that right?) pulls the ''I'm-your-master'' card on David, seeing how David's the Prime Merlinian and doesn't that make him a ''higher rank'' persay, than Balthazar. Or, I guess, if Balthazar owns the PM, that just makes him the ultimate BOSS. ;)

You know what I wonder? This just might be the girly side of my brain talking but I wonder if Gwen and Jacobus loved each other? Was it an arranged marriage? Jacob seems very peeved at Balthy for killing his wife... is that because he loves\misses her or just because his ego has been hurt? I'd REALLY like to know.
